In April, Airtel launched a new prepaid data pack of ₹401 for its users. The validity of the 3GB prepaid data plan offered by the company is just for 28 days. But along with the data, it also gives the user subscription to one year of Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
Shashwat Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel said, “On our Airtel Thanks platform, we have been bringing the best of partner services for our customers. We are delighted to add this collaboration with Disney+ Hotstar for our Airtel Thanks users.
The company also offers a ₹349 recharge plan that provides 2GB data per day and also gives the user an Amazon Prime membership for 28 days. Along with that, the plan also offers Zee5 Premium subscription and access to Airtel xStream content.

Jio

In response to Airtel's one year free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription offer, Jio has also announced a new plan offering one year free subscription. After teasing the banner two days back on its Official website, Reliance Jio now announced new plans by sharing the details of the plans on social media handle as well.

Jio's new data plans are ₹401 and ₹2599. In which, ₹401 comes with 90GB data and unlimited voice calling for 28 days and ₹2599 comes with 740GB data and unlimited voice calling for 365 days. Along with that Both plans includes one year free subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP as well.

As we all know about the current Lockdown situation across the Nation to Fight against Coronavirus outbreak, Indian Telecom Operators also stepped forward by providing some free benefits to their users till Lockdown. The list of Indian Telecom Operators along with benefits provided by them is given below:

Jio

JioPhone users to get 100 minutes of voice calls along with 100 SMS messages for free till April 17. Additionally, all JioPhone users will continue to receive incoming calls even after the available validity expires till April 17 to help users during nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Note: This is for JioPhone users only not for Jio SIM users on other phones.

Airtel

Airtel has extended the validity for over 80 million of their "low-income" prepaid customers till April 17. These customers will also be given Rs.10 talktime in their prepaid account to use it for important voice calling or sending message in this nationwide Lockdown situation.

"Low-income" prepaid customers are to be identified on the basis of low average revenue per user (source).

BSNL

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has also announced that it is extending the validity of their prepaid subscribers till April 20 and Rs.10 talktime will also be given to the prepaid subscribers having zero balance. These free benefits will be given to those users whose validity expired after March 22.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea Ltd; in Fight against Coronavirus Lockdown, has announced free benefits of Rs.10 talktime along with extension in validity of their prepaid subscribers' plans till April 17.

According to Vodafone Idea Ltd; around 100 million users are expected to benefit from these measures.

But Vodafone Idea Ltd. is providing benefits only to those prepaid users having featured phones in order to allow them to continue to receive incoming calls in current lockdown situation.


So, these are the free benefits provided by the Indian Telecom Operators to their prepaid subscribers in the current lockdown situation to Fight against Coronavirus Outbreak in India.

Currently, only above given Bank ATMs are providing Jio 'Recharge at ATM' service. But hopefully, soon in future every bank will provide this kind of service in their ATM machines.

Jio 'Recharge at ATM' Step by Step Guide


  1. Insert your card in the ATM machine.
  2. Choose "Recharge" option.
  3. Enter your mobile number (The number for which you want to recharge), Example:- 81049-XXXXX.
  4. Enter your ATM pin code.
  5. Enter the recharge amount (Example: Rs. 199 for Smartphone or Rs. 125 for JioPhone).
  6. Confirm (Press ENTER).
  7. On your screen, the recharge message will be displayed. The corresponding amount will be debited from your account.
  8. You will receive the recharge message from Jio.

This Jio 'Recharge at ATM' service will be helpful specially for those who don't have smartphone, who don't have Mobile Banking or Net Banking facility and of course who are already running out of data and recharge.
